Skiing vs. Snowboarding?

Do you like skiing better or snowboarding. I'm trying to figure out which one to take lessons for.

Snowboarding Errr Day... Soo much more rad then skiing... Riders are more chill and you'll just have an all around better time with it.

I like skiing more, but that's me.  This a question that you have to answer.  Try a lesson in both and see what you're more comfortable doing.  It all comes down to your choice.

Both are equally as fun, why not try skiing first, then if you don't like it , you can always try snowboarding, skiing is generally easier for most because you are wearing a ski on each foot which naturally allows for better balance,snowboarding takes a little more time adjusting to the fact that you have both feet strapped onto a snowboard, and balancing is a little trickier.

The great part about skiing and snowboarding is that the same gear you purchase can be worn for both sports, like jackets, goggles,pants/snow bibs and gloves.But the boots are a little different. Here is a link to a great blog that offers free coaching videos and other information.

Thats a personal question only you can answer!  Every1 above me is saying snowboarding, but I bet none of them can even ski.  (with the exception of the first answerer) I can ski and snowboard.  The thing is, what do you see your self doing down the mountain.  Have 1 board attached to your feet, or 2 boards attached to your feet.  None really is better than the other.  Skiing is not a old person sport, just like snowboarding is not a young persons sport.  What do you vision your self doing?

snowboarding!! i actually skiied for 6 years and switched to snowboarding..its my 5th year snowboarding and i love it!! skiing was always a drag to me, but snowboarding is so satisfying!!! you can't go wrong either way though!!
