Skiingoutfit?

Question

Hi, im going skiing and i do not what they these are called but it is a face mask, meaning that icovers everything around your head except for the eyes.( this might sound stupid if you still dont understand , its like those masks were you see in movies when people rob banks?) Anyways, im planning to go skiing sometime next week and i was wondering if it would look wierd if i wore that with skii googles and a hoodie jacket over it.

I know what you are talking about. They sound like a good idea, but they are really uncomfortable after awhile, you can't breath, you can't see as well, your whole headed is just packed together under it. It works great on the cold days (below 10 with wind and snow). Not sure where you are going, but if it's in CA you shouldn't need it, it's not going to be that cold.

If i need extra warmth i just use the regular turtle neck/face mask, to go with beanie and goggles.

I believe the most important thing to keep warm are your hands. Your face just gets numb and won't really bother you after awhile, but you use your hands the most and it will kill when you try to move your fingers...

I'd skip it.  They're annoying to breathe through and limit your peripheral vision.

Goggles will help keep your face warm and if you are wearing a hat you can pull down and a jacket you can pull up on the lifts you'll be just fine.

PS: that hat is a balaclava.

Don't wear that mask since it will be hard to see with it, particularly when you have to look to the side.  Spend a little money a cheap ski cap. You can probably find a cheap one at Wal-Mart. Since you're wearing goggles they will keep your face & eyes warmer & you'll see much better. A hood is fine & you can pull it over your hat if it gets cold & it won't bother you at all while you're skiing.

it doesnt matter what your wearing as long as your not a jerk to eve ryone else on the mountain people dont care what your wearing all they care about his how you act and how you ski

I heard their annoying, I've never tried one. But don't worry about looking weird. Once your on the top of that mountain and freezing to death, your going to wish you had went with the warmer desicion.
