  1. I'm not sure if you are asking how to play tennis on grass(the original lawn tennis) or just tennis as a sport in general. If it's the latter, below is a link that goes over many facets of the game. If it's about tennis on a grass surface, then here are a couple of key points:

1-More compact groundstrokes-unless you're playing on professionally groomed courts, the bounce is lower, faster and more erratic.

2-Take the ball in the air if possible-see above

3-Hone your serve-a good serve can be a dominating shot

4-Hit flat or slice-topspin is fine for passing shots, but loading up on top for rallies doesn't payoff as well as on the other surfaces.

5-Stay low and keep your arms relaxed-you must always expect the unexpected when it comes to bounces.

6-Fitness,strength, speed, and competitive spirit always count no matter what you are playing.

  2. Well, it's kind of like badmitton and volleyball.

You need good hand-eye coordination and some strength.

    Good luck!
