i was thinking about geting a skimboard but i dont know how to pick one i didnt want to spend really much more then 80$ because if i end up not liking it then im out of luck

Well you can look a cheap Wooden skimboard at a big 5 or sports authority. Or go to victoriaskimboards.com and look at a Woody. They are great beginner boards that work well for sand skimming. they cost about 25-50 bucks.
