Skimboard in making?

if i were to make a skimboard to like surf with it and stuff then how long would it have to be and wide would it be and how many inches of wood would it be and what type of plastic would i use under the board? i'm guna by from homedepo so if you could give me the exact name or url thx

look at the zap pro for the type of board, but i don't know much about how or what to make it with...hope i helped though.
