-good brands? (website please!)

-what size should i be getting if im 5'7" and 115lbs?

-theres these short and stout boards, and then long boards, which should i get (and why)? i do minimal tricks, nothing crazy, i like mainly to see how far along the waves i can go =]

-which last longer, wooden or fiberglass? i want fiberglass, but im just curious

  1. This website helps VV

also CALL the store they helped me a lot with all my questions.

  2. Zap is my favorite brand (www.zapskimboards.com). If you want to go with Zap, and you want to stick to and get better at skimming, go with the Pro for more hardcore tricks. For just basic flatland tricks and rides, just for pleasure and if you don't see yourself going out for the waves, go with the Zap Bat. I like it, but if you think you are still growing, the weight limit is 130, so it may not be for you. I have it and and I'm 115 and I love it. Laser is good too. Fiberg;*** lasts way londer than wood. That being said, for a beginner, and minimal tricks, wood isn't necessarily a bad choice. Fiberglass is a lot more durable and lasts longer, also giving you better rides. Good luck!, and I hope I helped answer your question!
