where is the best place to skimboard and the best place to surf? surf=sunset beach, Hawaii

Best surf spot = Pipeline or Chun's Reef, North Shore, Oahu.

skimboard is fun anywhere with a decent crash in... and I like to surf... well anywhere too because as long as there are waves, I'm there.

There are  lots o f wonderful places to surf all over the world....No. Shore Oahu, Costa Rica, Malibu, New Zealand and Australia.....Not to mention Baja!!  

Where ever you are.. if there i an ocean you should be able to find some kinda surf

don't listen to that idiot, "betterlife..." His obvious lack of experience is undoubtedly gonna lead you into the many and VERY real life dangers the oceans hold. He should be tossed out of THIS forum and not be allowed back in until he gains at least a little bit of experience. As far as "the best place to surf" goes? Well, that's a subjectable question. It REALLY is an opinion and/or preference. MY favorite spots are peppered around the world (some days actually OUT of this world sessions). I love Indonesia. Popular answer yes, but it's MY opinion, and pretty much universally agreed that they may have the best surf on the planet. I personally have logged uncountable, 10 sec.+, mind blowing, barrels. Skimboarding? Now that's an easy one. The skimboarding/bodysurfing capital of the Universe is unarguably Newport Beach's very own the "Wedge". EXPERTS ONLY!!  The Wedge WILL kill you. I've been bodysurfing that blessed man made spot for nearly 15 years now, and it still demands the up most respect. That's it! Be safe. Be aggressive. Be respectful.
