Skimboarding Spots in North Carolina?

Question

Is there any good skimboarding spots not too far out from High Point, NC i found some great spots but they are 4 to 5 hours away! Im looking for a spot that isnt too populated, im a sand rider and i dont have the board for riding those 5 foot waves i just need a tiny wave coming in every now and again that i can skimboard on Please help me out im going though skimboarding withdrawls, lol havent been since last october

A) they have a section devoted to hot places to skim nation wide

B) go to the forum (hit interact, then follow link to messageboards) there are several threads about north carolina, i'm sure if you ask someone there they will give you a few spots
