Here is the web site I found it on http://www.sportchalet.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2549286&parentPage=search&searchId=0&brandId=99408 All I want to know is it worth the money? Will it last a long time? Will it be good for wave riding and sand skimming? If not can someone tell me what is a good skimboard to buy? I am looking for a skimboard that will ride the waves and skim the sand and last a long time and I do not want to have to worry about pressure dings. I am 130lb, shoe size is 8 1/2in, and I am an intermediate/beginner skimmer. If possible the max I want to spend is $150

  1. The foam core is good, but the bamboo won't last as long as some other skimboards. It will mostly be good for light wave riding, but it won't get you too far from shore. I have this board and I love it. (I’m a beginner) http://beckersurf.com/browse/productdeta... Great board for 122 bucks. The foam core is good, and the fiberglass top makes it even better. However, it's rated 110-120 lbs, and the rule of thumbs is the weight range should be no more than 5lbs +/- from your own weight.

Here is a great site that will show you what boards are best for you based on the weight range you choose.

It looks like a medium board is what you are looking for. Of course, the only way to find a board that is just right for you is to go to a surf shop that carries a variety of boards (not just woodies) and have them pick ones that are best for you. Good luck
