how long should it take for my bad acne scar to show good improvement with skin peels?

It depends on how deep your acne scar is, and it also depends on what peeling solution you will be using.

If you or your dermatologist uses a glycolic solution, this will be applied once a week only for 4-6 sessions. On the third session, you'll definitely see an improvement on the skin  Of course your derma will probably prescribe a maintenance regimen or cream in between peeling sessions. It will take several sessions though to fully remove deep acne scars.

If you're going to use a TCA peel, the improvement will be faster because this is a deeper peel. The skin will peel in a couple of days but will take maybe a week to heal. The peel can be repeated every 3-6 months if deep acne scar persists.
