Question:

Skin Problem!! Help!!?

where do i start....I began using this acne treatment about two weeks ago. The product seemed to be working great!! my skin was clearing up and everything seemed fine. It wasn't until last night when i was washing my face and i broke out into these really really tiny bumps all over my face. I figure that this could be some type of allergic reaction but I am not sure. Does anyone know what this is? and if so any cures or remedies I can try.

BTW: the bumps are extremely small but can easily be felt on my skin. They have no redness or pimple like features.

Anyone please help...its bad enough i have acne and now tiny bumps at the same time:[

  1. stop using these products...

same thing happened to me when i tried proactive

so just buy an antibacterial soap..and just use that..you will be fine...

    dont go trying other products

  2. it could be an allergic reaction but it could also just be that your skin is becoming irritated. especially if it is a strong medication. ask your doctor and see what he thinks. if they don't itch or are red, i would think they are probably just a temporary thing as yoru skin adjusts to a new treatment. give it time.

  3. You are having an allergic reaction. I got that once too. Did u get a really cheap face wash? Try getting one that's name brand, hypoallergenic, maybe organic? Find out what your allergic to and make sure it's not in the ingredients of the wash. Also make sure you rinse off all the wash after and blot your face dry instead of rubbing it. Not only will that make your face cleaner, less oily, and have a better complexion but it'll help stop wrinkles too :D

  4. take some benadryl if it goes away it is probably an allergic reaction and you will have to discontinue use .

  5. it could be one of two things.

1: allergic reaction as said above.

2: some acne products work well at first, but then cause you to break out because it's actually fixing the problem. I know it doesn't make sense.

if you've gotten this acne treatment from a dermatologist, you should go to him/her and ask them about it. if it's from a drugstore, I think you should stop.

  6. hmm i have this problem too!The reason is probably because

the treatment is too harsh for your skin

i use SKIN ID now.Go to www.skinid.com and it delivers

you your customized skin treatment ointments.

It comes with three steps of ointments and its working for me!!!

i couldnt beleive it!Its because its ajjusted to your type of acne the way you set it up on the website. You should try it.It helps zits, blackheheads, bumps, everything!

  7. it might be an allergic reaction. maybe you ate something different or it's your skin product. stop using your skin product and see what happens. if the bumps still continue a couple weeks after you stop using the skin product make an appointment with a dermatologist.

  8. I have been using proactive for a few years and in the past month have had the same exact problem.  I think it may be from the proactive.  I would suggest to discontinue use of your product for a week or so and see if your skin clears.

  9. I like Clearasil ultra or Oxycerin to treat acne and black spots. during the summer, use a lot of sun block and protect your skin at all times. if you have sensitive skin, don't try the wave because it is known to cause irritation on sensitive skin due to the ingredients it uses. I like using a tea tree soap bar twice a day. Then after apply Tea Tree Oil. It is natural and the oil is an antiseptic so it kills germs on your skin.
