  1. I know for a fact that putting lemon juice on your skin lightens the color.

I used it on some scars.

    So, just tell your friend:

Every night before sleeping, put FRESH lemon juice on the upper lip area. Keep it on for 1 hour. She'll see results in about 3 days. But she must continue the process. MAKE SURE SHE MOISTURIZES HER SKIN. Lemon is an acid and it dries your skin. And make sure she wears sunscreen too.

I swear it will help a lot. And faster than lightening creams.

  2. I would suggest using a cream that has the ingredient hydroquinone. It is used for discolorations on the skin. You can try Palmer's Eventone Fade Cream which is 2% hydroquinone (Wal-Mart,$5), Nadinola Skin Discoloration Fade Cream which is 3% hydroquinone(Longs Drugs,$6). If you want to try something high end you can buy Murad Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Gel which is 2% hydroquinone(Murad.com, $58). Murad's Gel has additional ingredients that help alleviate the skin to reduce iinflammationand irritation. I suggest that if you aren't prone to irritation try using the more affordable options. That way if they don't work for you, then you can try the more expensive ones instead of buying the most expensive one and finding out it doesn't work for you.

  3. maybe you can try acne.org even tho she doesn't have acne but those people there sure knows a lot about skin.. Maybe they can Help..
