Skin multicolor on half my body?

I am 25. since I remember, if you draw a virtual vertical line on my body, the skin on my left is white but the skin on my right side has irregular darker patterns, the patterns are on half my torso front and back, one arm an one leg (no patches on or around the fingers). the patches (look cafe au lait color) get darker when exposed to the sun without sunscreen. They don't hurt or anything, they are NOT contagious but they are ugly. Does anybody know what i'm talking about ? does this condition have a technical / medical name ?

  1. It sounds like vitiligo, which happens when your skin does not have as much pigment in it in some places as it does in others, which may explain why it is more obvious with tanning. There are various types of treatments that may help the condition, i suggest seeing a dermatologist

  2. If they don't look like the picture above its a sort of birthmark.

    i have the same thing! ; )

  3. Do they look like this?

It's called Cafe au Lait spots.

  4. Could be Vitiligo. You may have a disease that destroys the

pigment in your skin. Ask your doctor. I have Vitiligo.

I started patches of really white skin. I started on my knees

and the top of my feet. There is no cure but if caught in

time the disease can be slowed down.
