Few days ago I've noticed My dog has few reddish spots on skin with no hair on that places. I took her to the vet and he gave me some liquid which is some mixture of oxygen and vinegar to apply it 5 times a day on critical places. Ive been doing it regular but I see no improvement, actually its getting worse...Is it just necessary phase of curing or I should consult the vet one more time?

  1. i think the best thing would be to consult your vet again

though ive never had to deal with something like that

its just what i would do for the health of my pet.

  2. Did the vet tell you what this was?

My dog who has now passed (due to old age) had something that seems like this. After seeing three or four vets it was concluded she had skin allergies which were then treated with daily medication. Without the medication she would itch until she was raw and exausted, losing all of her hair in those places. I would recommend calling the vet and asking. Couldn't hurt! Good Luck!

  3. It sounds like she might be knawing at different areas, maybe because a bad itch...and when they do that, they chew the hair away, and start chewing and l*****g the skin. It becomes irritated when they continually do that. My dog always had a raw elbow, and we would put sav on it, and wrap it. It helped alot. To me, Vinegar would irritate it more and dry it out....If what you are doing isnt helping, Id let the vet know. You might even try an anti-itch cream..I wish I could help more.*
