Skin rash on upper lip (from peaches?)?

Question

I ate some fresh cherries and a peach a few days ago and a tiny bumpy red rash developed on my upper lip. The only other time I got it was when i ate a fresh mango years ago. Does anyone else experience this and know what exactly causes it? I suspect maybe it's from the pesticides or fruit juice itself getting on my upper lip and not properly washing my upper lip afterwards. Is it a common allergic reaction to get a rash only on the upper lip? Anyone, Anyone?

your suspicion about pesticides is correct

You can develop allergies to anything at any time...most likely it was the "fuzz" that you are allergic too...if it doesn't clear, or gets worse...see your Dr
