Skinks vs. Geckos, Which to Choose???

Question

Okay, so I'm trying to decide between getting a skink and a gecko. I was going to get a yellow sided skink but apparently, the one's at Petsmart were all wild caught. So I want the blue tongued skink but my tank is only 10 gallons. So a gecko might be better suited to it. I'm a beginning lizard keeper. Can you give me suggestions and possibly reccomend which one would be better?

get a leapord gekko they are very very very hardy and tame....skinks are for alittle more experianced reptile owners cuz they are more agressive if not handeled well..but leapord,fat tailed,and house gekkos are all very very very easy to maintain(house gekkos arent personable though) but if u are looking for the easiest of all reptiles geta baby beirdie they grow slowly but get to being three feet by the age of five!!!and are very evry very tame!

                                                    p.s. do not get a green iguana or any kinde of moniter for youre first reptile ever!

Definetely get a leopard gecko i just got two and they rule!!!!!!!!!!!!
