Over the summer, as a graduation present, I have the opportunity to complete a racing school of my choice. I have 2 years of karting experience, and I want to get opinions from those who have completed these racing programs as to which one I should choose.

Any insight regarding the facilities, the employees, the cars, the track time, and the value of each of the programs is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

  1. Bondurant and Russell are both good schools, but they can't compare to the depth of talent that the Skip Barber school has. You will learn things in the 3 day racing school that you will carry with you the rest of your life. Skip Barber also has a bigger selection of tracks to go to.

  2. in the 80s i went to the Bondurant school in Phoenix and it helped me to understand the chassis and handling a lot better, plus it opened me up to more communication to the pit crew so i can learn to be a better driver.i have been racing for a long time and the time i spent with Bondurant was well worth it.Skip Barber from what i have heard is another one that is good training for future racing as well as Russel.look how they balance the class room with track time and the cost and the type of equipment you will be taught in.they are all good but you want to find the best bang for the buck when it comes to learning from them.
