does that seem like a good idea? I cannot wait to go to college

Also, is it too late to apply for Spring 2009?

  1. I'm taking my last year off entirely and going to college. It's a program through my school. I think it's a great idea and if you have the motivation I highly encourage it!

  2. I would highly highly recommend finishing on the normal time.  Fall semester allows many many many more resources for brand new students to adjust to college life.  The University pretty much assumes that everyone in Spring Semester started in the fall, so they don't give you much assistance.

  3. Many universities will not accept mid-year new freshman.  And, deadlines have passed for admittance for this academic year.   You will have to wait until fall of 2009, or go to a community college....then you must remain there to have enough hours to be accepted for transfer to a 4 year institution. You will find the first courses required are for the most part only offered the fall semester.   Universities run on the academic clock!

  4. Don't think you can get into college unless you graduate from high school.  Duh!
