i have a janome 1600p-db .i am trying to quilt and the thread is skipping. the machine will stitch once or twice then skip a lot ,then pick up a few stitches,then skip many more over and over.the fabric is a batik,batting is warm and natural,thread is king tut.the needle is 100\16.all are recommended by janome.i am using the free motion foot that came with the machine.this is a brand new machine.could the timing be off?i bought it on-line.the dealer is in cal. and i am in Cincinnati . thanks
