Skirts and windy days?

I know its August but for halloween I am going to dress like a girl as a joke. Either costume that I will wear involves a skirt, and I've never worn a skirt before. What types of fly skirts go up in the wind and which ones don't, and if its windy, do you think I should let my skirt fly up? If not, what's the best way of keeping a skirt down in the wind?

Those pleated skirts like cheerleaders wear will go crazy in the wind. Just look for a tighter fit. Nothing skin tight. If you can do a twirl and see your crotch, then you'll have a problem. You can always use body tape to keep a skirt you're unsure about from coming up. You can get it at bridal/prom stores or online like at Nordstrom.

The wind does what it want's to do. You really can't hold it down without your hands or what not. Usually something with thinner material will fly up more. Denim won't ever fly up.

The solution isn't hard. No, don't let the skirt fly up. Just wear bicycle shorts or spandex underneath the skirt.
