im going to be saving up for next ski season and im gonna get a mid fat ski. I am trying to decide wether to get k2 seths,k2 h**l bents, k2 fung fujas, armada t-hall, armada fleet, something like that (any ideas on kung fujas?they looked good fit)

also ill probably get skis about 178s or so

I PROBABLY WANT K2 OR ARMADA!

also, im leaning away from h**l bents cause im a little old school and thats a bit to fat for me. a 120-130 some tip would be good and a footprint of 88-100 would be best 4 me

i would like to get my hands on the 06 seth pistols but that could be hard. I ski lots of backcountry slackcountry powder, but also do some park and inbounds stuff. Thanks 4 your opinion

  1. dude dont be so technical, go with the k2 public enemy's. dont worry about the specs, theyre the perfect ski. thet can ski ANYTHING. powder, grooms, woods, bumps haha, park, you name it. just pick your size. my 2 years old pair got stole on a trip to europe with my dad and it pissed me off so much cause i loved them with all my heart. but the week i got back my dad bought me a brand new pair of 08 public enemy's, and i cant wait to tear them up. its all the same design. pick one and get out there

  2. i would recomend the k2 seths.  its wide for the powder, but has enough sidecut for groomers.  if you ski inbounds, i would advise against the hellbent or other rocker skis.

  3. Either brand is an excellent choice. Personally, I have used both and would reccomend K2s for what you are skiing. Armadas are excellent in the park, but not the greatest in the pow (and backcountry). K2 skis are also great in the park, and their skis are designed for all-mountain, also.

In the K2 department, I would suggest that you go for the Seths or the Fe's. These will give you excellent skiing in the terrain that you are in.

    Hope this Helps!

  4. Find a place that lets you demo, and try them before you buy them.

  5. Whats slackcountry?

I would definately stay away from T-Halls if you're planning on doing any backcountry, its a solid park and pipe ski but although I'm not sure about your weight, I'm willing to bet that they will not float you in powder.

Seths seem like a good idea, my friend has them and he's happy with them skiing all over.

Also depends on where you're living too, what kind of snow etc.

    Good luck!
