Which is truley better? I mean skiing is faster, more controled. tighter turns. yet snowboarding is more fun, thrilling, harder. Please do not use this to argue the question. I just wana know what in your opnion is truley better and why. Also add if you have done either, both, or neither. Thanks

  1. I've done or you could say DO both, however I'd have to go with skiing... Not any kind of skiing but Twin-Tip, because you not only have the ability to just go ride of the chairlift and do hard runs, but also, you can challenge yourself in the terrain park...

  2. i like snowboarding more personally

  3. Ive done both.

Personally I enjoy snowboarding more but it takes a little longer to learn. But i like it because its more of a challenge.

Skiing is fun because it doesnt take long before you can go down the harder slopes but it isnt quite as much as a challenge to me.

It depends on how much of a challenge you want.

It took me just over 1 day to learn how to ski and about 2-3 days to learn how to snowboard.

  4. For me, the choice to go skiing or riding depends upon the conditions.  Snow that is soft and heavy is difficult for me on skis but easier on a board.  That is especially true during typical Spring conditions.

Snowboarding is often harder to learn but easy to master.  Skiing, on the other hand, is easier to learn but difficult to master.

I started riding at age 60 and find it to be just as much fun as skiing.  Again it depends upon the snow conditions.  Being both a skier and rider just makes it even more enjoyable to play on the mountain!
