Sky HD Box?

When my Sky HD box is installed will the engineer run a cable from it to the phone line or does it operate off the satelite dish alone?

You only need to keep the phoneline insattled for a year(sky contract) after that you only need it plugged in when you want to watch a movie etc.It won't affect your picture

You need a phone line otherwise you would not be able to use the Sky+ part of the box.  Obviously it gets plugged into your dish too - he'll give you a quad LNB.
