Sky Pilot favourite for www.limerickraces.ie Handicap
Sky Pilot is expected to prevail in the www.limerickraces.ie Handicap at Limerick in Ireland on Saturday, June 16, 2012. A cash prize of €8,970 has been set for the winner of the 2 mile race.

Bay, Swiftmarc, Headford Flyer, Whatuthink, Admiral Barry, Eagle´s Pass and Steel Park.
Out of the above mentioned name, Steel Park might not be seen in action, as the conditions do not suit his running style. He could have attracted a few bets today, as he has a decent record at this level.
Most of the participants are struggling for form at the moment, thus it will be a very good opportunity for Sky Pilot to take the top spot. He is carrying a decent momentum at the moment, which will help him attract some bets in his favour.
The seven-year-old gelding has participated in 14 events until now, winning one of them and finishing runner up on a couple of occasions. In addition to that, he has also finished third on four times, which shows what he is capable of.
However, the Ms Joanna Morgan’s trainee does not have a good strike rate, which is not a good sign. He finished in the top five in his past seven outings, which proves that he has become a lot more consistent performer.
In his most recent run, Sky Pilot gave a tough time to his opponents, but had to settle for the second place in the end. He was not rated as the favourite to win, but came close to victory. A similar run will definitely put him in contention of another win.
The favourite runner will be partnered by young jockey, P. J. Smullen, who has won a few races in his career. However, he is not known to be a consistent runner, which is not a good sign for any rider.
On the other hand, the bookies believe that Domination will also be the one to watch out for in the race.
