Question:

Sky+ RF Out?

Hi,

I have an aerial input and two rf out's on my sky+ box. One rf out is connected to my TV and the other to another room to stream the sky.

My problem is: The picture is fine if there is no aerial in the input, but when I do put an aerial in the input socket, the picture from the rf out gets distorted in the other room and has a lot of interference.

Why is this happening and how do I solve it?

Thank you,

John ;)

  1. The RF output appears to be causing interference.

Try to remove the aerial then go to sky channel the do the following-

1-press services then 4 for system setup,

2-key in 0,1,select to access hidden installers menu,

3-key 4 for RF outputs then key in a new RF channel number and press select.

Tune in the tv to a new frequency and save it and hopefully now when you put in the aerial it will not interfere again.
