Apparently you can get Sky TV in Europe and a lot of expats living in Spain have it. In the information for the villa I am going to be staying at soon, it says that they have Sky. The villa is owned by British expact and most likely rented by British aswell.

Im wondering if the Sky that is included will be exactly the same as the UK one?

  1. Yes basically whatever you have on Sky in the UK we can get here.

If they pay for a viewing card like in England then you will get what they are paying for, otherwise if its free channels may noy be much choice. However, if the villa is on a Brit urbanisation then you may have a collective dish and the owners of the villa may have paid for that. I'd ask them what channels you will get.

It is illegal to have Sky in Europe (according to Sky) but we all have it.

Some pay via a UK bank account, pretending the card etc is in the UK

    others have free channels

others pay a fee to Brit companies here and go through them.

I watch most channels but cant get BBC, ITV, Channel 4 etc

    Hope this helps
