Sky TV when i turn on my samsung LCD TV my sky box wont change channels via the remote?

I can change them over on front of the sky box only and on the TV link up stairs any one any ideas. It works fine when the tv is turned off

you need to programme your remote, its very easy, jus get your sky manual and turn to page 50 odd i think its all about tuning in ur sky remote

reprogram your remote, 1st set it to a defiant tv then program it back to your samsung

press ( on your sky remote)  interactive>sky customer services>program your remote and follow the instructions
