Sky bill pin help?

i was discussing my sky bill with a friend and i mentioned how i through mine away and he told me i shouldn't as someone can get my pin number from the bill and if they hook up to my connection run my bill higher is this true??

and if so where is my pin???

the pin is set as the last 4 digits in your viewing card unless you changed it after installation. no one can hook up to your connection, the NDS system (skys encryption ) works on the basis of your box being connected to your phone line and the card matched to the sky box serial number so the only one accessing your account would have to be in your house.
