I would gladly see Murdoch hanged in chains, but there is no doubt it is infinitely superior than anything Auntie ever used to offer.

  1. yes!!!

  2. Yep particularly when they insist on over hyped aged out of form and rubbish english rugby players going on their sky sponsored lions tours. and when the majority of the rugby mad fans around the country can only listen to important competitions on the d**n radio. Aunties heinekien cup coverage was excellent as I remember...and it should be given straight back to them.

  3. *sigh*  Ya'll are so lucky to have the option!  even just to have someone on ANY USA channel on TV say the word "rugby"... it would be awesome in the states!  The World Cup Scores weren't reported... even of the US Eagles... :-(  count your blessings!  lucky for me i have setanta sports through DirecTv.... *sigh*  dreaming of a world filled with rugby

  4. I'm afraid I disagree (well, not about the Murdoch part)... the BBC has a better spread of commentators from more nations than Sky. Where's Sky's Bill McLaren for example? I know Bill's not on the go anymore, but Sky's commentators all seem to have the same drab voices, and accents, and not much character at all. Some of them don't even know much about rugby!
