  1. The way the ITV and Sky Pundits bang on you would swear that only England had any chance of winning and that JW was the best player ever!

Oh dear, wish they would get their heads out of their @rses and wake up and smell the coffee...........at least the Welsh pundits, media and people except the fact their team is cr@p!

  2. Yeah, I think the problem is the NH press and commentators.  They talk everything up about themselves.  I saw some average tries from NH teams during the RWC but the NH commentators were just going on and on about how fantastic the try was.

The public make up their own minds but when every newspaper, TV channel and "expert" is telling you that your teams are spectacular, then you start to believe it I guess.  They truly do believe it though, it's not false bravado.

Half of them STILL can't see how badly they've fallen.  Instead of seeing their obvious downward spiral, they think that Fiji and Tonga have played fantastic rugby and have risen up.  Truth is, the gap between NZ, RSA, Australia and the Pacific Islands is still the same, it's the NH teams that have fallen back closer to them.

It's not just Rugby though, supposedly they're the same in soccer.  Constantly fail but all they talk about is their success way back in whenever it was.  They think they are getting one over the SH teams by taking all our players into their club competition.... truth is, they are just giving all our great young talent more opportunities to step up while all their young players have no chance.  I say long live the stupid setup they have in Europe.

Anyone taking bets that no home nations make it out of the pools in 2011?  I hope 1 or 2 do so they can keep deluding themselves that nothing is wrong!

  3. Their main job and agenda is to promote and push rugby to a massive football crowd in england...that is why itv were awarded the contract...they are not really trying to communicate to a intelligent knowledgable rugby audience..

You should seriously take their stuff with a pinch of salt.

  4. That's the way it goes when you're the defending world champions but all most get thrown out in the group stages in the very next tournament.

Think they're just preparing for the inevitable - a thrashing - and for some revenge by the Wallabies on Saturday.

  5. lol. nz beaters? highly unlikely but never say never. anything can happen in a rugby match.
