some numbers are not working. dunno what's wrong with the rubber but the buttons have worn off. it's been only like 3 months. ive never seen a remote wear off that fast. tv remote is still perfect after years. i was wondering if i could call them up and ask for another, or shall i go and buy one?

  1. call them and demand a new one, dont let the fob you of but stick to your demand

  2. same situation here. i got my sky+ in march and the buttons and writing have already worn off yet my cr*p tv of 12 years still has its numbers. on top of that they cost £25. i say you should call up and complain. but you have to be a subscriber

  3. you can buy a new one at any good elec retailer

    about £15 i think

  4. Was at a car boot sale in Oldham last week, and could see about 10 being sold in different stalls. They must all end up there. Complaining would be a good idea, but how long would it take for a new one to arrive?

  5. Had the same problem with my sky+ remote, sky were no help at all... ended out buying one from Tesco for a tenner... works great..

  6. Phone them up and complain! might save yourself a few quid. Ours only goes dodgy when the battery needs replacing so try that first before you  do owt else.
