Sky sports or setanta?

Question

which is going to be the best bet for football matches this season?? im a liverpool fan so i see setanta has liverpool tv on it too. i think its a ludicrous price to have to pay for both of them

Of course it's a ludicrous price...it's football were talking about here.....If you want an hour of garbage before the game,then an hour of garbage after the game....watch Andy Gray and Richard Keys on Sky....if not watch Setanta....

Sky has so much more football and as someone else has said there is 4 channels and its also broadcast in HD if you have a HD subscription, although i've got to hand it to Setanta they have managed to get the FA Cup this season (which kinda sucks!) also i beleive if you get it on Sky you also get the Arsenal and Chelsea TV channels which i suppose is good if you support them!

@ Nick - are you sure you had to pay extra for Sky Sports News because it just seems a bit weird seeing that its on Freeview!

Sky is obviously superior. Setanta kind of copied. But it doesn't matter that much. All I know is, Setanta had to pay a lot of money to get match rights PL and International. And with Sky all you need is the Sky box and to subscribe for an extra pound (if you don't have it already). With Setanta you have to subscribe AND pay £15 every 2 months

I wont!! I have sky sports but to be honest I've never watched a match on it yet and had it for 18 months!!!

So I use the excuse of not having Satanta so I can go to the pub and watch the match!!

The above answer says you get Sky sports news in the package. Sorry mate your wrong you dont I had to take out the news package to get it!! Bloody rip off!!

either one will be great but also don't forget about online streaming of matches also will help out much

but i think sky will deliver more but as a Liverpool fan you may want to go with Setanta sports for obvious reasons.

Sky sports will have all the big games on like when the top 4 meet, so I would say it would be more worthwhlie.

i've had setanta for years as it had scottish football on it.It's ok but sky better also think it has the games that would have been on ppv . sky will still have biggies.I believe you can still get setanta on a month to month basis so only take when liverpool are on

they have waaaaayyyyyyyyy more matches on and have news sky sports 1,2,3  and i think sky sports extra which shows all different sports. but setanta usually focuses on football yet still has less games. and those liverpool tvs dont show any games only preseason games.

u get 4 sports channels and sky sports is the best for watchin rugby, cricket, tennis etc if ur into all that

u also get sky sports news which is wikid!!
