I looked on www.SkyEurope.Com and it says from Prague to Amsterdam is 35$ us dollars, is this real?? legit?? Or some scam?

Also, it says "Check-in baggage fee" 192 czk.

If i am carrying something on, then i dont have to click this right? Which means another 192 czk off my fee, then its only like 25$ us dollars to fly one way- which is even more fishy, too good to be true.....

  1. The prices are real. I flew easyjet and ryanair for fares that low and distances that far,  BUT, they're not going to subtract the 192 czk from the $35 if you don't check a bag.  You need to read on their site if they charge for that carry-on bag; there's surely a limit on size and weight even for carry on.  If you travel like me, with a truly small and light carry on, you really can fly that trip for $35.

  2. SkyEurope is a legitimate airline, but the cheap prices aren't available on all flights - there are some days left in Aug / Sept at 39 euro. The cheapest seats left in July are 59 euro on the 23rd and 24th. Most of the rest of July is 89 euro with some days at the end of the month more expensive. Most of October is available at 39 euro right now too.

You don't subtract the baggage fee if you don't have any check-in - you add that amount if you do check bags.

There are lots of budget airlines here in Europe still. You might find these sites interesting: http://www.whichbudget.com/en/

  3. I'm from europe, airfares are still cheap there. Skyerope is a big company pay by credit card and you will never loose.

  4. Well.... ma dear...

It sure is possible & NO scam, because over  here we have quite a few REAL CHEAP airlines (Ryanair as well), who charge this little for european flights due to the fact, that they have "no stewardesses" on board, no food is being served, low administration costs, etc. - At times, you can get flights for LESS than 10 $ - but: you will have to add the ground-check-in costs, which may be higher than the actual flight. But: go ahead & pay with credit card & you'll be OK !

By the way, Amsterdam is a HOT CITY !!! You'll love it over there !!! It's such a fabulous place... Enjoy your stay!!! Wish you a safe flight & lots of fun!!! Greetings from Germany.... Annette***

  5. I know how you feel.   I just bought two tickets from Barcelona to Vienna for a total of 10 Euros.  Hope it's not a scam

  6. No, you will have to pay the flight and in addition the check-in fee of 192 czk which is about $ 12,90.

The European Parliament is stopping this behavior now.
