Skydiving: Full AFF course

Hey,

Im interested in doing the AFF skydiving course. Can anyone tell me roughly (on average) how much this is going to set me back, and what it consists of? (i know its 7 jumps). Can you do this as a type of holiday, stay locally and do the 7 jumps over a week or something?

Also, i need some clarification, to do the AFF skydiving course do you have to have completed the static line course first to progress onto freefall, or can you just start with the full AFF course? I have done a tandem jump before but thats all.

There are usually packages available if you pay for all of the jumps at once. It can run between $1200-$2000 for a package depending on the drop zone. It's a savings, because individual jumps can be anywhere from $170 to $300 each plus ground classes and certification fees.
