When i call my friends through skype no caller id shows up and i do have a skype in number

  2. Skype Caller-ID is currently only available in the following countries:

    UK, Sweden, Denmark, Japan, Hong Kong, Estonia and Poland

    According to the Skype blog, there are many technical and legal reasons for the limitations.  But they say they are working on expanding the caller-id functionality in more countries.

    It's also important that you have upgraded to the latest version of the Skype VoIP Client.  The latest version is currently:

    3.8.0.115

  3. you don't get caller ID with skype...unless you pay for a separate caller ID package....
