Skype problems pls help?

hello i just got skype 2 days ago and i have a problem with it i can hear all my friends clear and all but for some reason they cant hear me my mike works but it doesnt work i skype for some reason i did the test call and i couldnt hear myself but i recorded my self with sound recorder with the same mike and i could hear me loud and clear does n e 1 no wats wrong and how 2 fix pls help =[

I ate there once and got sick. I think the girl taking the order was also having trouble with the microphone. That was thee last time I set foot in a modern trendy restauraunt for good!
