Skywalker Louie hot favourite for William Hill A12 The Missing Linc's at Sheffield
Skywalker Louie is a local hero, who won eight of the last 11 starts at Sheffield. So, it will almost be an impossible task for the rest of the pack to challenge his dominance in the William Hill A12 The Missing Linc's, a 500 metres open race, taking place
on Tuesday, July 10th.
After producing plenty of good results at this track, the blue and white dog travelled to Coven, where he failed to maintain the standards. After getting bumped badly at the second bend, he was in no position to do anything special and as a result, finished
fifth behind Vedfield Solid.
Despite an embarrassing defeat, the hound did not lose his determination and regained his momentum very quickly. He returned to Sheffield with a huge bang, sealing two back-to-back triumphs.
His last success hit the headlines last weekend, when he crushed Frisby Fontenblu by ¾ a length to bag the winning prize. Top Honcho’s son is expected to continue his winning journey and complete his hat-trick in a great style.
Among his opponents are: Boher Chieftain, Endova Rossi, Lethal Roy, Trickys Biscuit and Droopys Cinders. The £200 event is due to get underway at 19:26 (GMT).
Boher Chieftain is not in good rhythm at the moment, but his recent solo trip was quite fascinating. In his last outing at Nottingham, the white and black dog covered 305 metres in 17.82 seconds. The spectators at Sheffield last saw him on June 12th,
when he was trounced by Bowtime Regan.
Endova Rossi clocked a flying 28.03 seconds here back in May, but it a lot tougher this time. Trickys Biscuit used to run regularly at Sheffield, however, he is returning here after a long break.
Droopys Cinders has a poor strike-rate and we don’t expect her to improve. Lethal Roy has run a couple of decent trials recently and holds a good chance of making improvement.
Skywalker Louie is unlikely to let anyone take the big prize away from him. Endova Rossi might make things a bit tricky for him. We wish the best of luck to all the runners.
