Slash Vs. Jimi Hendrix?

Question

It's been a dear question of mine for years as to who was the better guitarist.. With years of intense study.. (listening to music) and asking old fellas like my dad, I've came to the conclusion Jimi Hendrix is far beyond Slash skill wise, or was atleast.. (R.I.P)...

Anyways.. It's a big argument where I live and it can get outta hand, so I'd like to hear what the rest of the world thinks..

also, you might want to ask this in rock & pop. this section is dominated by disney band fans, so they might not know who either of those people are....

Slash is the best... but hendrix is good too... they are both great!
