Slaven Bilic chooses to remain silent despite http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Denis-Glushakov-c10855’s rant – Football news
Slaven Bilic has decided not to fire back at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Denis-c10837 Glushakov, who had earlier labelled Bilic as the worst manager he has ever worked under during his entire career, saying that he does not want to hurt or insult the Russian midfielder after his brave comments.
“Honestly, I do not care. I am not hurt since these words came right after my departure. There are mainly two types of people, the one who always pass the buck to the other and the other look at the problem itself. Well, apparently, Denis belongs to the
first category. It's amazing to hear such words from a man who I have always trusted and to whom I gave more first team opportunities last term. Do not get me wrong, I do not want to give a harsh reply. I still think he's a good player,” the former Hajduk
Split coach was quoted as saying.
Bilic, who parted company with the Russian Premier League club after terminating his contract with the Moscow-based club on mutual consent, said that he has a big heart to forgive loose-lipped Glushakov.
Glushakov, who made a switch to Spartak Moscow from Lokomotiv Moscow last night, uttered bad comments about Bilic in a press conference as he was not happy with the manager’s tactics and techniques during his stay at the Moscow-based club.
The 26-year-old midfielder blamed Bilic following the Moscow-based club’s below par finish to the league campaign last term. Lokomotiv finished just outside the top half of the league table with 43 points.
Bilic went on to tell that he did not want to leave Lokomotiv stadium, saying that he completely respect the decision made by the upper management of the Russian outfit after a detailed meeting.
Domagoj Bilic, the Croatian tactician’s agent and brother, said that Bilic has different options on the table. However, he told that they will make a careful selection of the coach’s future club this time around.
If speculations are to be believed, a host of European clubs are interested in signing the 44-year-old manager.
