Sledging bound to happen on dead Indian pitches, says Tim Bresnan – Cricket News Update
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 since there is nothing for the pacers in the dead Indian wickets.
He argued that due to the lifeless Indian tracks which offer little or no help to the fast bowlers, he and his fellow seamers need to use verbal volleys to trouble batsmen.
The English fast bowling attack which was almost unplayable during India’s recent tour to England is yet to create any difficulty for the Men in Blue in the current series.
In the first encounter, Team India amassed a huge total of 300 and subsequently chased England’s target of 238 convincingly in the second match.
The Poms are presently 2-0 down in the series, with the third clash is set to be played at Mohali on Thursday, October 20, 2011.
Desperate to do something wonderful in the remaining three matches, Bresnan insisted that the English pacers will have to fly some spark in order to intimidate opponent batsmen during the
remainder of the tour.
“It's part of the game. As a fast bowling unit, we can't really use the ball to intimidate as much as we'd like in India, with it not bouncing so high, so we have to do other things to get
into the batsman's bubble, whether it's a little bit of a word or a look or a stare. It's all handbags, to be honest. No one really pays much attention," Bresnan was quoted as saying by 'The Daily Telegraph'.
He however, dismissed the notion that his teammates have any conflict with the Indian players outside the battle field, adding that the guys have been enjoying a good time with Mahendra Singh
Dhoni and men.
"The Indian board charter flights for us and we all fly on the same plane, so we'll be at the airport together and we'll have a chat. It's just when you cross onto the field that it's not
as friendly, but that's exactly how it is at an elite sporting level," the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Yorkshire-c867 seamer shared on the eve of the in-progress third competition.
