I am looking for your hints and tips on getting enough sleep, rest and relaxation for new parents. How little sleep can you survive on and still function? How do you cope with interrupted sleep? Is there anything you can do to support these new sleep patterns? All wisdom posted is appreciated as it will be passed on to other new parents.

  1. Like said above sleep when the baby sleeps. Don't worry about anything else. Take the help when it's offered. As for having your sleep cycle interuppted, its hard at first but eventually you adjust to it. Just keep your chin up it does get easier!!!

  2. When the baby sleeps, you sleep.  Let your house go!

"Cleaning and scrubbing can wait til tomorrow

So cobwebs go away, dust go to sleep,

I'm rocking my baby -- and babies don't keep."
