  1. No it isn't. But I got surgery once and I think the anesthesia is like being artificially dead and when I awoke I couldn't stop crying, that was my first reaction, I cried and cried and was nervous. It was funny.

  2. Well when we euthanize animals, we do put them "to sleep"....

  3. You are alive when sleeping man.

To the Toist & Chinese, Sleeping is the 3 spirit is out for travel to places that you will visit in future or if no dream, that they resting.

In common it's only the mine & body resting.

Why are you asking this? Don't you sleep?

  4. Unless you dream when you die... It's not death.

  5. No no.Just a re-boot.

  6. nonsense, Singapore has a lot of sleep 2 death cases. check it out with the death dept.

  7. Alot of people can based on single minded opinions. I guess in order for something to be fact it needs 51% of opinions right? But ill give it a shot. Sleep is just your body resting. It is your subconscious opening up and expressing emotions in a sometimes percievable manner, and sometimes worth examining. So no sleep is not "death" but a different state of consciousness. What qualifys us as alive exactly though? The answer can also be yes because we are unaware of our sensory perception while asleep and not performing tasks as a Live person would do. But our brain is still functioning in a different manner, and our hearts are beating so physically we are both dead and alive, but mentally we are alive in the subconscious realm.

If you dont have an open mind then why ask the question? You have to look at it from various standpoints and physical is an aspect of living.

  8. During sleep, most outer sensory data streaming reduces.

After passing, the awareness is without physical data streaming.

During sleep, awareness is progressive, types of dreams, telepathic influences, lucidity, out-of-body awakening and learning.

Likewise, after passing on, various similar stages occur.

  9. Not likely to be death at all.

    Everything still functions as

    things do even when someone

is in a coma. Death means:

    no longer breathing, having bodily

    functions such as bowel movements

    and urination. However, sleep does

cause the body to shut down like a computer

    or any other machine/equipment; meanwhile,

the soul is still highly active. In fact, the spirit

is more active and freer to roam from any place around

the world because it no longer has that heavy physical

body to lug around slowing it down.

That's why we dream..the spirit/soul is traveling and

transporting us any place between the past, present

and future. This is what deja vu truly is all about.

No, sleep is the polar opposite of death. Sleep is when

the inner you is most alive and free.

    Peace

    Joy

  10. No. because when you sleep, you heart still pumping.

Temporary death, you heart don't pump.
