  1. I had sleeping problems as well that lasted for awhile. I was scared of the dark and I had trouble sleeping. What worked for me for a little while was music. But when the music started to get more irritating than helping me fall asleep I was back to being scared again. You just have to remind yourself constantly that you're safe and that there is nothing. If you're religious, pray to God to send a guardian angel to protect you. If not, just keep reminding yourself that you're being silly and whatever you think is scary is crazy until you realize how crazy it is to be afraid. What also helps me when I can't sleep is to sing myself to sleep! ^_^ I pretty much fall asleep easily now. Just think of what you'll be doing tomorrow, or how your day went. Think of ANYTHING else but what's keeping you up. Pretty soon you'll be drifting off.

  2. That's not good.  Try a night light.  Or see if you can start seeing a psychiatrist.  Or maybe you can take a sleep aid like Tylenol PM.  Good Luck!

  3. Dear, you may please check out the following and if any of them is correct, please stop doing it-

    1. Are you reading too many crime/horror novels or fiction?

    2. Are you watching too much TV?

    3. Are you playing with friends who bully you?

    4. Are you not concentrating much on school?

Besides these, try to find out what are the scary thoughts you get.Talk to your parents about this and follow what they advise. You are too young to have insomnia so I presume you are not investing your time correctly in the right directions. Please do not worry, tell your parents and sort it out.Be happy!!

  4. stay up a full day  go to sleep when u want to break in a time

  5. What are you worrying about mate? There is nothing to fear except fear itself... try saying this phrase to yourself when you go to bed at night.."I lovingly release the day and slip into peacefull sleep, knowing tomorrow will take care of itself".

Foods rich in Tryptophan will help induce natural sleep and aid in reducing anxiety and tension.

Avoid caffeine for a few hours before bedtime too.

foods rich in Tryptophan are ~ bananas, cottage cheese, milk (if you can tolerate dairy), meat, fish, turkey, bananas, dried dates and all protein rich foods ............. turkey sandwiches for supper may just do the trick buddy.

Naturally resolving the problem will always be the best way .

hope this helps you a bit.

    peace 2 u

  6. Scared of what? Get someone to watch you or something. You're 13, this is bad for you and bad habits.

  7. I'm 13 and I have the same problem. When I told my doctor he said I was having a type of mental issue that has been becoming common with teens. The doctors can't figure out the cause yet but he said. So just go to the doctor and get some sleeping pills that will clear your mind. It helped me, it might help you

  8. Don't watch TV for at least an hour before you go to bed and only go to bed when you are really tired. That way you won't be lying awake thinking for ages. If it continues the try talking about it to your mom or a friends. Tell them what worries you and it will reassure you that everything is OK.

  9. do you watch alot of horror movies, it might effect ur mental behavior hence dreaming of scary stuff!!
