Okay this is kinda funny but my sister talks in her sleep.. i mean A LOT n it's like fluent not even mumbling or slurring, it was worse when we were younger cause our parents made us sleep in the same bed, she used to kick me and slap me lol omg once we had guests over and this lady was sleeping on a mat (dunno what they're called) but she was kicking her n literally beat her up in her sleep lol she didn't even remember anything when she woke up. It's really bad cause she's talked about people in her sleep n like said what she really thought of them. What is this called? Does anyone do that? What does it mean if you sleep talk? Does she need to go to the doctor?

  1. Im exactly the same, its nothing to worry about.

  2. Well, i think it has nothing to do doctor!! my younger brother is 13!! he memorized the whole Qur'an!! so sometime he reads qur'an while sleeping!!

i think it is just normal!!

  3. Yes- She should see the doctor.

  4. I talk in my sleep sometimes.  My husband told me that one night I propped myself up on my elbow, hand to ear, as if talking into a phone, and "ordered a pizza to go."

I HOPE I've never said anything against a person that anyone overheard!  To my knowledge, I haven't.  But I doubt it's something a doctor can treat.

Maybe she has an 'attitude' problem, if all her dreams are about beating people up.  Maybe she needs to change the way she views people.  If that's the case, maybe you could mention to her that she may be too judgmental about others, that it's something she might want to think about.

  5. I don't think she needs to go to the doctor. But may be she needs to let all those things out when she is awake. She is obviously not being truthful to people about what she thinks. And subconsciously it is bothering her. These things only come out when her inhibitions are down, i.e. in her sleep. So tell her to be more truthful from now on.

  6. No she doesn't need to see a doctor.

    Its normal.

Rarely, when I have a really really bad dream I shout and sometimes I cry in my sleep. Its normal. Lol.

  7. Just take her to a doctor.. i had the same thing but it went as when i got older.. :)
