Sleep walkers, never wake them up WHY??

They say you should never wake a sleepwalker up. why is this? EXPLAIN cuz i have no clue and I really dont understand

  1. You could wake them up, but it's just going to scare them.

    People usually wake up really disoriented and confused, so it would freak them out for a while if you were to wake them.

    But nothing bad can really happen by waking them up.

    That was just a dumb myth.
