Sleeping Pattern out of whack

I'm definetly a night person, I have been staying up until around 5am and getting up around 3pm all summer, but now that school is starting soon, I need to get my sleeping pattern back to going to sleep at 11 and getting up at 6. my only question is how? i've tried forcing myself to go to sleep an hour earlier each night, but thats definetly not working because I cant fall asleep!! I'm going to insane if i start going to bed at 5am and getting up at 6am... plz help!!

  1. Since School is starting soon--- Only a change in you and your activities will enable you to focus on PRIORITIES!


  2. sleeping patterns are very tough to break. since you go to bed at 5 am, set an alarm for 6 am and splash water on your face. the sun will be up so that will wake you too. just do whatever it takes to keep awake until about 10 pm and then you will wake up at 6 again. if you do this for 1 or 2 days, you will have a normal sleeping pattern. try it. hope i helped!

  4. i had the same exact problem but i just got it back on track lol. you could try doing a lot at night so you will get tired or reading always makes me tired after a bit =] if you dont get your sleeping pattern back before school starts then the first day youll just have to suffer lol and be tired all day and wait awhile before you go to sleep that nightttt
