i'm always too hot when i sleep. i've noticed that my room isn't too hot but when i lay down under the covers after a couple minutes i get to be too hot. also, i need to have a somewhat heavy blanket on me when i sleep. i don't know why. where can i find a blanket that may be made of a lighter material or something that doesn't make me hot when i sleep.

  1. Consider a wool blanket... they're relatively heavy, but without a spread over them, should allow good heat control.

  2. bed bath and beyond

  3. Thermal blankets are the answer, and a now used in all Australian hospitals, as they are light weight but warming. I only have a polyester filled quilt/duvee/doona(whatever you want to call it) on my bed & that is plenty.

  4. Try a layer of styrofoam - heavy but not warm.
