  1. Ohh I think it just dries your eyes out.. I do it sometimes when Im just way to tired to deal w/ it...im im still alive so it can't be THAT bad:)

    BTW- dude, it's spelled- simply!!!!

  2. dont sleep on them. i've been wearing em for over 8 years now. i know all about the contacts !!! if u sleep on em even for 1 night next morning they will get hard and taking em out will be really an issue. im not scaring u but big chance u will scratch ur eyes.

My suggestion is to take em off and throw em. when u go home u'll have spare to put on. ( i know contacts are expenssive ). Or try this Stay up all night.

If i do forget my contact package or get in a situation. I eithr throw the contacts( if they are about 2 expire) , or stay up all night and leave in the morning if they are new !!!

    cheers

  3. if you sleep in them, they simply just dry up in your eyes, won't hurt though, only will feel wierd in the morning and they might be a little bit blurry and hard.

  4. one night will not hurt but don't make this a habit because your eyes will become really dry and irritable  and fall out easier or scratch your eye

  5. Don't sleep in your contacts unless they are extended wear.  Wear your glasses.

  6. If you cannot see without the contacts I'd leave them in for the night, but get them out tomorrow as soon as you can and switch to your back up glasses. Never ever ever put your contacts into any type of water other than the saline solution, you can get acanthamoeba which is extremely dangerous to your eyes, don't believe me, do a google image search.

See if any of them have some artificial tears you can put in to lubricate your eyes before you go to bed.

Good luck, and always remember that spare stuff! ;)

  7. If they have some bottled water...boil it first...then let it cool. Put your lenses into 2 separate containers, well covered.

That will save your lenses, but you can't wear them again until they have been disinfected for 6 hours in your solution.

You will be stuck tomorrow morning...but that is a hazard of wearing contacts when you don't keep your glasses handy.

  8. its bad for you if you sleep in contacts.

  9. Take them out, put them in water.  Do not leave them in.  You can scratch your eye when you do finally try to take them out.

  10. One night is okay.  But try not to make it a habit.  Your eyes don't get oxygen through blood, the eye actually gets it oxygen from the air. So if your contact is covering it, it's not getting oxygen.  I have had my eye deflate from sleeping in my contacts for very longs periods of time. So be careful. =]

  11. It's ok to sleep with them in for one night. My doctor told me my colored contacts weren't supposed to be worn at night but I sleep with them in all the time and nothing has happened.

  12. It's not a problem. I've had mine in for weeks at a time and they got to be a problem eventually. But one night might bug a little tomorrow but isn't a big deal.

  13. if you wear your contacts when you sleep, they can move around and actually end up in the back of your eye and you would have to get surgery to get them out.

i would beg my mom to bring my stuff over because i wouldnt risk that.

  14. do not sleep in your contacts it can damage your eyes badly my friend put hers in water until she got home and then put them in solution im not saying you should do this but thats what she did....do u have ones at home that you can replace them with??

  15. um well im sure one night wont be a problem im never supposed to sleep in mine and i accidently did once and nothing happened except they were pretty "dry" ( i think its called dry) and they were harder a little to take out since they were "drier" than normal

  16. its not realy good for your eyes and might irratate them but it will be alright for one night.

  17. Well you're technically not supposed to sleep in contacts due to lack of oxygen to your eyes, but I've honestly been sleeping in them constantly lately and as long as you don't rub them too much, you should be fine. They might feel really dry in the morning, but don't rub - they'll go back to normal soon. :]

  18. usually it doesn't bother people but sometimes they stick to your eyes and it's firm to take them out. Also they may net you eyes itch later cause irrritation.

  19. symply not good....how ever you spell symply

  20. You've learned a valuable lesson about being prepared- sleeping in contacts sucks. You can sleep in them, but you'll probably wake up with very dry eyes. Your best bet is to keep them in, though- without saline solution to put 'em in, they'll dry out almost immediately. Just make sure you take them out as soon as you get home and let them soak for a while. Your eyeballs aren't gonna fall out or anything, but you might have a little discomfort.
