What are good spots to sleep on the beach in Thailand ? Is it mostly safe? Is lighting up a small campfire gonna get me in trouble ?

Thanks

  1. I think a good spot to sleep on the beach would be on the inside of an air conditioned bungalow with a security guard - - but assuming that you have nothing that could be stolen, are compatible with stray dogs and don't care about taking a shower or using a decent toilet - I think you should be fine... you know, the simple life - all good stuff - - you can sleep on the streets in Bkk too - - but seriously, you will probably get arrested for being a vagrant and deported for not having any money.. [ if you do have money it might well get stolen while you sleep outside ] - - good luck..

  2. Not advisable.

  3. will never do the same.

  4. go to a good hotel where they have their own private beach kinda

  5. I would never try to do this anywhere especially Thailand

  6. That's not safe. Unless you can find a camp ground with security guards. The Thai people are very friendly and nice mostly. The average salary for unskilled labor is about Three thousand baht a month. That's around 60 US a month. A full backpack might be worth Six months of their salary. This might tempt people. The Thais would think you were strange for sleeping on the beach. Plus in the daytime you would have to carry all your things around with you. The police in Thailand supplement there salaries by fining tourists. Like the parking scam in Puket if your car is parked on the side of the road you have to move it to the other side of the street at 6:00 AM every morning? Good luck.

    Regards,

  7. No good spots.  In fact I believe it is illegal.  In the past people have been actually killed on the beach late at night.  Especially if your a girl.

  8. Depends on where you go, if you go to a beach that is 5 stars then probably yes to all of them, but other then that, i'd be careful.

  9. I don't think it's safe sleeping on the beach anywhere in the world. Thiefs aren’t borne they're made of the opportunities you give them.

  10. If you have time and group of friend and not looking for much people.

Go to Klong jak or BAmboobay In ko lanta..or kuntieng bay..

You can deffinately do that...Pefectly safe...first get to know the people..be nice to them and they'll look after you.

After you camp...make sure you clean place for them to show respect then you will be very welcome:D

I guaruntee you can on KO LANTA
