Sleeping pad vs air mattress?

Honestly, its really not too much about comfort because i can sleep on almost anything as long as its flat. Which one is more practical and convenient? Product suggestions would be nice, my budget is to try to keep it under 30$

Try campmor.com they have self inflating sleeping pads around your price range.  They are all name brands.  I use a 3/4 length one, less expensive, less weight, and I usually roll my jeans up for a pillow.  I prefer the self inflating pads over others.  Not just for the comfort, but they roll up smaller then most sleeping pads.
